If you haven't seen me to file your college applications please do so immediately.
Begin to research scholarships using www.fastweb.com , www.collegeboard.com or www.meritaid.com. You can also review ACHS weekly scholarship listing (paper format/web format). You can find the paper listing on the rack on the wall or the electronic version on the school webpage under people, faculty, guidance.
Early graduates please come see me for a check out form. It is due before December 19th. Please make sure you register for a NSO if you plan on attending CLC this spring.
Don't forget to maintain your grades, colleges and universities will be looking at both your 7th and 8th semester grades.

I have begun to send passes to meet with you to discuss your junior transition plans. We will discuss the academic areas you wish to have assistance with, as well as get you started with researching possible careers/majors. please come when you get your pass from me!
Make sure to be researching your college options. Several colleges/universities come to ACHS. Listen to the announcements for the schedule and come see me for a pass. the next college fair will be in March at the College of Lake County.

Bus service to school will run normal times
Bus service home will run on Wednesday/Thursday at 10:30 and 12:00 (noon). On Friday busses will run at 9:00 and 10:30. If students are staying to make up an exam during the make up period, they will need a late bus pass.
General Information
Use the Pass system to check your grades on line. Come see me if you have forgotten your ID and Pass pin numbers.
Take advantage of tutoring . Ask your teacher when they are available. Don't forget we have a late bus!
Enrollment update:
All schedules are final. The only schedule changes that will be considered are:
1. Replacing a course that was completed during summer school
2. Not meeting a pre-rec
3. Not having a graduation requirement
4. Needing a level change
