On October 6th the students in Interior Design took a field trip to Harrington College of Design

A field trip to downtown Chicago this week gave students enrolled in Interior Design a chance to tour the campus of Harrington College of Design, as well as pay a visit to the Merchandise Mart. Harrington offers degrees in interior design, communication design, and digital photography, careers some of the students are interested in pursuing, according to teacher Jennifer Harrington. After lunch, students headed over to the Merchandise Mart to explore the DreamHome exhibit, which features 10 spaces designed by top designers. Interior Design students are in the midst of studying the use of color as an element of design. As a final project for the semester, they'll have to design two rooms and create design boards similar to the ones on display at Harrington College.
