SCED Level System
Level 1 Privileges
Level 1 consists of:
- Creating an appropriate personal daily goal.
- Reflecting on your achievement of your personal goal at the end of the day.
- No passing periods
- Escort to all other parts of the building.
- Lunch supervised in the classroom.
*Privileges chosen by student and approved by teacher or paraprofessional can be earned.
Ways to move to level 2:
Achievement of:
- 70% of points daily for 15 days
- 85% of points daily for 8 days
- 100% of points daily for 5 days
Level 1 privileges and consequences will be maintained if appropriate point sheet percentages are not met.
Unexcused absences will result in loss of one achievement day.
Unexcused absence for a class period results in loss of points for class period.
Level 2 Privileges
Level 2 consists of:
- Creating an appropriate personal daily goal.
- Reflecting on your achievement of your personal goal at the end of the day.
- All level 1 privileges.
- Choice of two non-escorted passing periods upon teacher/paraprofessional approval.
*Privileges chosen by student and approved by teacher or paraprofessional can be earned.
Ways to move to level 3:
Achievement of:
- 75% daily for 15 days
- 90% daily for 8 days
- 100% daily for 5 days
Level 2 privileges and consequences will be maintained if appropriate point sheet percentages are not met.
Referral from staff may result in movement back to level 1 depending on nature of referral.
Unexcused absences will result in loss of one achievement day.
Unexcused absence for a class period results in loss of points for class period.
Level 3 Privileges
Level 3 consists of:
- Creating an appropriate personal daily goal.
- Reflecting on your achievement of your personal goal during 8th period.
- All level 2 privileges.
- Choice of 4 non-escorted passing periods.
- Lunch periods on your own (if you return to your next class on time daily).
*Privileges chosen by student and approved by teacher or paraprofessional can be earned.
Ways to move to level 4:
Achievement of:
- 85% daily for 20 days
- 95% daily for 10 days
- 100% daily for 5 days
Level 3 privileges and consequences will be maintained if appropriate point sheet percentages are not met.
Referrals from staff may result in movement back to level 2 or level 1 depending upon the nature of the referral.
Unexcused absences will result in loss of one achievement day.
Unexcused absence for a class period results in loss of points for class period.
Level 4 Privileges
Level 4 consists of :
- Earn all general school privileges.
Ways to move to mainstream classes:
- Maintaining level 4
- Team meeting to determine new class/classes.
Level 4 privileges and consequences will be maintained if appropriate point sheet percentages are not met.
Referrals from staff may result in movement back to level 3, level 2 or level 1 depending upon the nature of the referral.

Unexcused absence for a class period results in loss of points for class period.
