Four Students Selected to be IMEA District 7 Choir
Members
Congratulations to Alyssa Wittman, Mat Braden, Laura Gorski, and
Kaela Talley. These students were selected to be part of
the District 7 Honors Choir after a rigorous audition process in early
October. These students will travel to
Evanston Township High School on Saturday, November 15th to be part
of this select ensemble. Students will
rehearse throughout the day with a guest conductor and put on a performance for
the public that afternoon. Additionally,
two of these students, Laura Gorski and Kaela Talley, have been selected to
re-audition for the privilege of being part of the Illinois All-State Choir in
January. Congratulations to all these
students for their hard work.
Holiday Choir Concert
The Holiday Choir Concert is
scheduled for Tuesday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m.
The mandatory dress rehearsal is Monday, December 8 at 6:00-8:00
p.m. Don’t miss it!

computer. If you would like a pass to
come work in the choir room, band room, or library, please see your director.
If you have questions about your
theory, feel free to ask your director for more help. They are more than willing to sit down and explain
things for you.
