2008 Team Highlights

1. Ethan Hahn (Sr)- Accepted a scholarship to run cross country at Judson College in Elgin beginning in the fall of 2008.

2. Marcell Kirkmanbey (So)- Qualified for the Prep Top Times meet in the 55HH running an impressive 7.75. Marcell will compete on March 29^th at Illinois Wesleyan University.

3. Andrew Stein and Jon DeGrave are both currently among the top jumpers in the state of Illinois based on the rankings on the Illinois Prep Top Times web site.

4. A good number of senior track athletes have made their college decisions and are very happy with their choices.

5. Josh Beckman was named as a national merit scholarship finalist and will find out later this year if he has won this great honor.

6. Alex Hawkins has been chosen to speak at Graduation, this is a great honor.

7. The team placed 3^rd at both the NSC conference meet and the IHSA sectional.

8. The varsity and frosh/soph teams both won the Grant Invite.

9. The team 11 all sectional athletes

10. Jon DeGrave and Andrew Stein both qualified for the state finals in Charleston IL.
